for the people who have 3 or more furkids.. How do you do it???.. i jsut got my third furbaby and it is way different then 2. how do you not trip, fall, stumble, step on that pups?? lordy the newest one who is around 3lbs and 9-10 weeks old stays under my feet constantly, scratches my legs (shins, thats all she can reach) and whines (she the only one who sleeps in a crate i think she is offened)..makes hugh potty messes, helps remmie destroy things...typical puppy..how do i start gaining control over her and the rest of them...the only thing im really worried about and i watched "dog whisper" on this today and got some great tips, but remmie has become food aggressive, he doesnt snap at ths skin baby but if one of the other dogs are near food he snarls and snaps, then if i try to stop him he snarls at me and has bit me but not hard enough to hurt or break the skin, i have try displining w/ the crate w/ a fussing and a little smack, and the latest, trying to be a domiant dog, getting down on his level and when he acts up i bark and growl at him and when he bites me i bite him...i think this one has worked the best..but still looking for more tips.... also how do you keep you house looking good and smelling good..i love my puppies but dont want to look or smell like a kennel..i use bleach in the kitchen and that usually keeps the WHOLE house smelling good..but again i just wanted someone elses tips because usually someone has a great idea that someone else hasnt thought of.... okay thanks everyone!!!!!

I have no advice to offer you, but it sounds like you have your hands full. Maybe look online for more info on the food agression situation. that's not good Good luck!

i do but i love 'em!!! wouldnt trade' em...lol i think since rem is young i can work on the food aggression and stop that! i have already begun separating everyone when it is food time, before i leave in the mid mornings for work remmie goes to the kitchen w/ a baby gate and pixie goes in the crate in the breakfast nook and little girls stays out w/ food. they all get fed. then when i am home i pick up all the food thats left and put it away for the night, that has helped a lot... i do leave the puppy food in the crate so when she goes to bed she can still eat i know that she is still growing...then of course they get treats too..

I have 5 yorkies, a maltese, a pekepom and a himmy persian. My home never has an odor. I use Glade fans in every room and febreeze on all furniture and in the air. Of course I keep all my "kids" very clean and groomed. People have always commented that they cannot believe my house smells so good. AND ps: I smoke too unfortunately.

wow you have a lot!! i really want to breed my male yorkie and pom, i know that some people dont agree w/ that BUT i have a yorkie pom mix and i really think i got the best out of both breeds, so i also hope that in time i will have more yorkies ( i like yorkies best) and i wouldnt mind having a maltese or two and of course we could always through in more poms..lol my husband would kill me... he doesnt like that the are crazy!! runing all over the place and being loud and sometimes remmie will knock our son down (only in love) so he gets frustrated w/ trying to walk around the house too.. BUT i see it as if he didnt REALLY want them here he wouldnt have driven 6 hours for pixie, 1 hour for remmie and 3 hours for little girl...he has always WILLING gone to get them and they have been mainly his idea (after i broke him down that is)..lol

| I have 2 YT's, 1 Boston Terrier, Chi Mix and Y Lab... I never thought I could do it with 5 but its not so different than 4. When Hope come to us, it was quite a change cuz she is so small(3 1/2 lbs) and Laci my lab is SO BIG(95 lbs)... For only a few days, she cried when I put her down, then got the run of the land and thinks she is the new boss.. haha... I still have to be careful cuz she follows me everywhere and she is so tiny. I use Febreeze daily, if it needs it or not. I clean my floors with WINDEX and it really helps. I agree that the key is to keep the furbabies clean and fresh smelling and it never smells "puppy".... I dont like my dogs to smell like dogs... besides, they are just small furry babies.... LOL It will get better and before you know it you will want another...

I have a Boykin Spaniel, Yorkie/Bichon and Yorkie and I hear ya..there is always someone wanting attention or chewing things up lol. I LOVE every minute of it though. Sadie our 4 year old Boykin and she was perfectly fine when we brought Darla home but when our newest baby Reece came home she was snappy and growly with him. We have no clue why? I have been VERY persistant with NOT allowing her to react in a negative way and it is starting to pay off. They are starting to actually become friends and Sadie is much less agressive with him now. I definetly want MORE furbabies in due time. I am hoping to breed Darla and Reece in the future!! Dawn
