| My Yorkie runs around the house like a mad dog for 2-3 minutes... I have a Yorkie puppy of 3 months and every day for about 2-3 minutes she starts running around the house in big circles through the furniture like a mad and crazy dog. It is kind of cute but I was wondering if that means anything or if anyone has experienced this as well. Thanks! Kathrin Last edited by Kat1102; 09-22-2006 at 02:47 PM. |

| welcome to the world of dogs.I did a chuckle to myself when I read this thread cause my yorkie, jack russell and bichon do it every night without fail my family gets a real laugh out of it especially if we have visitors. They run around the furniture doing the figure 8 but sometimes we have to call time out as they go so fast we are scared prudence might hurt herself.

| Oh my Gosh! That is exactly what Chloe is doing! I have to laugh real hard when she does it but sometimes I get scared because I feel like she will run into the coffee table. I thought my dog was crazy. It is good to know that your dogs are doing the same thing. |

| Sounds like normal healthy dog behavior. It's hilarious to watch them. My son-in-law calls it the "zooms". |

| My pup does it too... Hubby laughs he's loony but he just has a few super hyper minutes before bedtime. He runs from kitchen to bedroom and back, so fast his ears are flying back. Usually throws around his almost-done flossie and growls at the same time... Riot to watch

| Maddie does that too...runs behind the loveseat to the other side, heads down the hallway and into one of the bedrooms and then finds her way back to behind the loveseat and on and on. I laugh each and every time she does that....love it!

| Shylah and Brynna do it too...you can hear them laughing the whole time. Their ears pinned back, their tails wagging...and great big smiles on their faces. They play tag run into the family room, jump onto the couch bounce off the couch...around the chairs, under the table, and then over the armrest of one of the chairs, flying into the kitchen...run around the kitchen table and then back into the family room__ it all starts over again...all within seconds. So fast. Crazy but very happy little doggies. Then, just as quickly as it started it stops...I swear you can see the halo around their heads... ~Marly |
