| Going to look at another baby tomorrow Hi all, i made an appointment to go and see a litter of pups tomorrow, and im nervous... im not sure why... nervous and excited, i couldnt eat my dinner lol the babies are 7 weeks old, so they not ready to go yet, but again this time round i have pick of the litter... am i blessed? yes i know i am... with Chelsey we had pick of the litter too... it was hard to decide, but there was a helping hand from above im sure of it.... I have a question for the people that have had pups this close in age, how did u handle it? i would like to know all good and bad... please help me out here.... obviously i will be taking Chelsey with us to go and visit the babies so she can see them too, i dont want to make her jealous coz she is a right mommy's baby.... I spoke to another breeder this afternoon and asked her opinion on what she thought about the close age and she told me that, the smaller the age gap, the better... but i would still like to know what u all think about it? Right now Chelsey is my priority and i will do whats best for her! All advice and opinions are welcome!

| How exciting - a new puppy? Personally I think the closer in age the better. After they get set in their ways, it is sometimes harder to bring in a new family member. You might want to check with your breeder and make sure its okay to bring your yorkie to pick out a new one. I breed puppies, and I wouldn't allow that. I have no way of knowing for sure if their shots are up to date and also I don't want to take any chances with agression. The mother dog might have a big problem with allowing another dog in the area of her pups. Just something to think about . . . |
