| He will still love you!! I work full time too and my babies know I am their mommy. When I get home its all about me!!! It breaks my heart that I have to leave them and they cry They are home alone during the day...and the reason I got my girl was because I didn't want my boy to be alone. Don't worry about it...just give him all the love for the little time your with him. Even if he's sleeping...just lay with him. |

My furkids Donating Member | Currently I am unemployed. When I was working my Mom and Dad took care of Sadie for me. They had her from 7:00am until 5:00pm everyday except the weekends. So in reality my parents had her more than I did but, Mom said when it got around the time I would be coming to pick her up she would run from the chair (can see the driveway from the chair) to the door. and when the time changed and it got dark earlier she would sit by the door and just wait for me...She had bonded to my Mom as well as me but, that was ok..My parents are very good to my furbabies! (I now have another one!)

| Awh I think it is so sweet that you are concerned. I work full time too and my hubby is self employed so he gets to work out of the house some during the day. The puppies get to see him more since he is in and out but they know that when I come home that I am the mommy. I think it just has to do with who is going to be giving them the most love and things they need. For instance I feed them, love them, bath them, play with them and hubby just plays and loves. It is funny but they know I am the mommy and they get so much more excited when I come home than when he does. Baby Max will learn - he is still young.

| Dogs can love a lot of people. As long as he is spending time with all of you -I wouldn't be concerned or hope that he likes any one person more than the others. Just let your little guy have fun and be loved regardless of who's taking care of him. Even if he chooses or seems to be closer to one person, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure he loves all of you --- Carol Jean |

| I am at work 6 hrs a day 5 days a week (sometimes 6). Gypsy stays in my home office during that time with her food, water and toys. Sometimes hubby lets her out when he gets home sometimes not. Depends on if he is in and out of the house or not. When I get home I have to pick her up and hug her before I do anything else. Then we make a game of her going with me to change clothes. She is still Mommy's girl no matter what.
