| I just realized my pup ate a small styrofoam ball he was playing with. He picks up little rocks and I need to watch him all the time walking, it's not like he's underfed, now he's happily chewing on a pig ear. I guess it's a Yorkie thing... Aren't our little ones special?

| oy - yes same with Buddy - when we're outside he tries to grab and eat EVERY leaf - it makes me NUTTY he has made himself sick more than once. I won't even go into details of stuff he has found at the small dog park. : hork : (and that's just what he did! Yuck!) |

| Maddie used to do that when she was a puppy and I suppose it went on for 6 months or so. Now she's much better...she still picks up stuff on occassion, but it's not constant like she used to do.

| Jaxon is terrible with this too. He'll grab leaves, bits of grass, and even eat all kinds of bugs - yuck! I really have to watch in the kitchen too - if I drop something he is gone with it in a flash!!!!

| There is hope! My girl Rylie who is now 8 and a half months...... used to be our personal vacuum on walks but now she has gotten so much better, rarely picks anything up. so there is hope. Just keep telling her "no" and "leave it" or "drop it" it has started to work for her. However at home especially in the kitchen she is our like swiffer... not one crumb goes left when Rylie is around. same goes with papers and shoes. i think it's because she knows that if she picks somethign up that she isisn't supposed to then that means we chase her. Which of course is her favourite game. But now it seems like we not only have to be carefull whats on the floor but on top of the kitchen table... she is left home alone in the kitchen during the day, and we have noticed twice that there have been random things on top of the table that are been chewed ...pens, pencils, and a little box. I refuse to think it's her, i have no idea how she would get up there........ but knowing her she is a little bit of a devil..........But this is a different topic.

| I think the funniest thing so far that Jaxon ate - somehow our Visa bill got knocked onto the floor. I found it in the living room ...... half eaten!!!! I thought it would have made a good TV commercial.
