| Hi, I'm new to the thread so I didn't really know where else to post this... Sorry, I just have a question. I have a 6 month old female yorkie puppy and ever since we got her shes had this strange scent even after I give her a bath it just comes back after about an hour or so. I was wondering if anyone could recommend maybe some strong scented shampoo? Thanks |

| I've heard other people comment about yorkies having a strange smell. At first I thought so too but maybe I'm used to it now because I don't notice anything. I think it might be because their eyes tear more than other types of dogs. I use Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo for washing and then use Herbal Essence conditioner. In fact, the last couple of people who have held Lola had commented on how good she smells. One lady wanted to know what I used so she could bathe her yorkies with the same thing.

| No too long ago another member had the same concern. If I remember right, she had the anal glands emptied and the scent was gone. Good luck

| Do you know what part of her body the scent is coming from? Check her ears just in case. Good luck! |
