| Tough guys and Yorkies... Isn't it too funny when our tough husbands get all mushy about our furbabies? My hubby, ex-marine and football player, has been very firm about Pepper not being allowed on the bed. Just imagine my shock when we were putting a shopping list together the other day and he said we need doggy steps so Pepper can walk on the bed on his own (it's pretty high)... Obviously, as I was not aware, they've been 'wrestling' on the bed when I'm working... LOL. As we work opposite shifts right now, I leave puppy home with hubby and he's planning to make an 'agility trail' for Pepper today . That's cute though....

| My Dh is 6'2, 250 lbs, referees AHL hockey and always the rough games cause he can handle it...goes to the store carrying Kenzie, she where's her baby pink coat, with two pigtails with bows. She is only about 3 lbs...but this is HIS baby. I usually carry Reggie who looks like he ran through a lawn mower (he is all boy...)

| Hubby has went from "if something happens to Gypsy, we can not afford another yorkie", to " I don't know how we can get enough money saved to get another yorkie".

| My guy too! He is for some reason ALWAYS worrying about how long they'll live. I think he's hoping he'll die first! My two macho sons were total yorkie skeptics too, and now they're ALL about "the little girls"! The other day I was trying to have this serious discussion with my oldest about one of his friends who didn't live with his mom, and how that must make him feel...and all MY kid can think is, "Wow, mom, I guess if we didn't live with you, Dad wouldn't ever have gotten the yorkies on his own, would he?" Gee, son, nice to know you'd miss ME!

| Most definitely!!! As everyone may know, I had and showed Dachshunds years ago and my husband had a Coonhound) I had wanted a Yorkie for years and my husband and 2 sons laughed at my wanting a "worthless, fru-fru" lap dog! My, my, how things have changed!! Who has pictures of her on their phones, who walks in the door and sweeps her up saying "here's my baby girl"? In fact, the other night, my husband asked "why it took me so long to get a Yorkie?" These men make a bigger fuss over her and talk more baby talk than my daughters!! They all love taking her on "field trips" to the bank, or to visit friends and my husband loves taking her to Petsmart on the weekends to get a new toy. He comes home telling me about all the new "friends" she made, etc. There is a young couple that are friends of my kids..he's a 6'5", ex-probaseball player, and now football coach. You should see him down on the floor playing with their little Bentley. Yep, folks, REAL men do play and are owned by Yorkies too!! |

| This Saturday, my bil and his long time live in got married in our front yard. I knew Gypsy would bark if I left her inside so I got her a new dress and had her outside. Pictures of members of the family were being taken with the bride and groom. When it was our turn, hubby insisted I bring Gypsy up too, and he held her in the pics.

| You should see the ribbing I take when I take Heidi to the local gun shop and outdoor store, like who knitted you the dog and where did you get the cat. Yea: i'm one of those guys you are talking about. She goes everywhere with me. I don't mind the ribbing at all.

| My husband did the SAME THING! He said "no dogs on the bed" and then while I was at work, him and Google would be lounging on the bed, watching TV and playing! The sneak! I didn't find out about it until he said we needed doggie stairs! |
