| How to make the ears stand I have a 3 month old Yorkie and his ears were starting to stand up pretty good. I think my daughter pulled on his ear when he was nibbling her finger and now his right ear is droopy while his left ear is half standing. I am taking him to the groomer to get the hair trimmed around his ear and probably taped up. Do I need to worry about this or will his ear heal itself and stand up again?

| Lilos ears did the same thing, one day they were up, the next half-way down. But finally we shave her ears almost to the base, and in 3 days the ears stand up on it's own( that was 3 weeks ago and they are up until now) Just try that before you decide to tape them.

| broken cartilage? So do I need to worry about any broken cartilage in his ear? I heard my daughter playing with him in the other room and then she said "stop biting" and then he yelped pretty loud. Of course my daughter denies doing anything but I have my suspicions. I just don't want to wait too long if it needs to be taped up. I read some where that by 6 months old their ears are set.

| Have you shaved the hair off of them. It may be too late....but, it is worth a try. The other option is taping them.

| Bristol just got her ears shaved at the groomers today! Keeping our fingers crossed that it works. She is a doll either way though. |
