| Digging ... for water! idk why but lately gracie has been putting her paw in her water bowl and digging and there is nothing in it but water then she ll take her other and just stand with her two front paws in the bowl! i mean it is quite cute but she gets water all over and stuff! Has anyone else had this happen before? I was just wandering if there was a reason for this! Thanks!

| My Sunshine used to do this. I honestly thought maybe she was washing her little feet. She would put her front paws in and then turn around and stick her back paws in the water and then rub all over everything to dry herself off |

| When Dennis was a baby last summer he would jump in his water dish, he always reminded me of a baby bird in a birdbath! He did get over that stage if that is what you are wondering. |

| I used to have a little dog that dug in her water bowl. I've since read that using raised water bowls will help. Good luck!

| Kitty does this quite often. I have no explanation why either. She has also been laying in the water pan outside. She is in an air conditioned house and begs to go out. So I let her out thinking she needs to go the bathroom. Well, she goes out and lays in the big water pan outside! It makes me so upset. I don't know why she does it. All I can say is "silly dog."
