| 3, 4, 5, generation pedigrees??? Alright everyone I have a question about registration. How do you obtain a pedigree with 4 or 5 generations?? I was looking on the website of AKC registration, and the only box they have to check is that you get a 3 generation pedigree, it is the only option you have, you don't have an option to get a 4 or 5 generation pedigree. So how do you guys get a fourth of fifth generation pedigree since it only gives you the option of a 3 generation pedigree. Or does this mean that the dog you are trying to register does not have a known fourth of fifth generation pedigree and only dogs that do can have it?? I am so confused, can anyone help me understand this??

Thanks for the tidbit! I just found out that my little Biscuit Eater has what I believe to be champions in his five generation pedigree. There are some names with CH and some without; which doesn't matter to me one bit! He's perfect in my eyes no matter what I found in his lineage! | |
