| Does yours HATE bath time??? Pita HATES baths, she sits still but she just shivers and shakes, I bathe her in the sink and fill it with warm water, I do everything I can to make her comfortable but she HATES it. Then to add insult to injury I have to blow dry her or she would freeze to death and she hates that even more. I have a flea problem so she gets a bath twice a week at least and it's just miserable for her. Any ideas to make it better for her???? |

| I put the towel in the dryer while i give Mojo a bath so it is very warm and confy!! Also try to take her out...play with her after the bath...so she can associate it with something she enjoys.

| Fred was scared to death and hatd it at first..and then he figured out he gets a whole treat instead of half a treat after bath so he just stands quietly with his paws on the side of the tub! |

| She is 6 months old, and with each bath she hates it more, she knows now when I run the sink and go to get her and she goes the other way! I play with her and try to give her treats I praise her all thro it... I don't know i'll try the warm towel thing but I doubt that'll be enuf to make her like it. She tolerates it but I can tell she is not a happy camper... |

| Duke loves his bath! I also run his towel in the dryer while I bathe him, and he loves to snuggle in his warm towel after his bath and enjoy his Greenie. I hope that your little starts to enjoy her bath soon! Good luck!

| Sully seems to think that bath time is punishment. It's heartbreaking. His ears flatten to his head and he whines, and looks at me with sad eyes like "what did I do wrong, mommy?" We bathe him in the tub with warm water and we have a detachable shower head that we bring down on him, so it really is bearable - he tolerates it well, but I am convinced he spends the next hour trying to figure out what we were punishing him for. The poor darling.

| That's exactly how Pita is, after her bath she won't kiss me or anything. I am public enemy number one! I sure hope she learns to like it! I can't imagine what would make it change? Maybe I'll try bathing her in the tub instead of the sink?? |

| I just gave Brutus a bath today and he hated it! I don't know how the breeder did it! He was shaking and so scared and forget the blow dryer incident! And to top if off now he hates his comb and brush. He's was growling and nipping at them. |

| Lucy HATES her bath! She is three now and has always been like this, for no apparent reason. You tell her 'bath time for Lucy!' and she runs and hides behind the sofa! She hates being blowdried too, she just runs around while you are aiming the hairdrier at her, rubbing her face on the floor! She is too funny! |

| Bath Lol isn't it funny how some love it and other act like the Wicked Witch as though they'd melt by touching the stuff. Simon doesn't really LOVE a bath, but wants to be wherever I am always. We have a sit down shower and more than once he's pawed open the door and hopped right in. Funny little guys we have! Jeni |

| Tia is not fond of her bath either. What seems to help is if I continually talk to her in my "sweet baby" voice. It really calms her down and she doesn't shake or squirm.

| Try putting a rubber mat or towel in the bottom. A lot of dogs hate baths because their feet slip around or they think they will. This has cured every "fear of baths" dog I've ever had. |
