| If you have a girl in heat you need to put a diaper on her. Belly bands won't work for this problem. The fastest way to get one is to run out and get a bag of diapers for human babies and make a little slit in it for the tail and put it on her just like a diaper goes. Hope this helps you. I find the size 1 or 2 fit my 7lb girl best.

| You are welcome for the information. I only know this because the first time my girl went into heat was on a sunday evening and I ran to my sister's who had a small baby at the time and took a couple of her baby diapers to put on my girl to get me through.

| Petsmart sells both the belly bands and the diapers. My female is 4 pounds and even the newborn diapers won't stay on. I know from experience, that litters result from using a diaper and a belly band. I was even within two feet of them. The only safe way is to keep them separated. |
