| Best Way to Fix the Carpet? Trixie chewed a 2" hole in the carpet of our rented apartment. Does anybody know if there is a good way to fix it?

| if you can purchase the exact same carpet in a small piece... cut out the 2 inch hole w/ an exacto knife and then cut an identical piece out of the new carpet and then glue it in place... i read this somewhere on the hgtv.com page... hth... in a pinch if the hole was tiny you could probably remove a tiny square of carpet somwhere where it can't be missed like the back corner of a closet. |

| Oh, my 2 have chewed several small holes in our carpet. We live in an apartment and I really need to fix it so we can get our security deposit back. Someone I know also recommended cutting out a square around the hole with an exacto knife and just buying a piece the same size and gluing it in. This is what we will probably do. |

| Cut a piece of carpet out of the closet. The only problem is that carpet will probably be cleaner as it's not in a traffic area but it may work. |
