| Questions about Kongs I bought Jake a puppy Kong, and I've read here where some people freeze them. Do you put water in them before you freeze them? I also saw on the package where you can put chicken broth in them. Anyone ever tried that? I'd imagine that would be a little messy lol |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I just bought kongs for mine and was wondering the same. I too find that they will be pretty messy , as my whole home is carpeted. So far I've only used the spray can for them. I'd like more ideas too! |

I don't think water would be too bad as long as they're on a surface that can be cleaned easily. But, chicken broth would be a little greasy, I think.

| My cousin puts peanut butter in her pom's kong. You can also tear up treats and slightly pack them in there, but so their able to still get out. That always keeps them occupied for awhile.

Yup, I've got peanut butter flavor and Liver Flavor cans. You spray it in the hole, its like a foam. Do people use "real" peanut butter as well?

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Kong's Hey girl! I bet SOMEONE is getting prettyyyyy excited huh???? LOL Steddy has a Puppy Kong and I use the Liver (sounds yucky to me, LOL) Paste that Kong makes that comes in the can (looks like a Cheese Whiz can), and I do freeze it sometimes. Also, I put Peanut Butter in it as well and you can freeze that inside of it also I have the hard Kong Biscuits that fit inside of the Kong, but Stedman is spoiled and REFUSES to eat or even mess with hard treats!!! Go figure, lol

| I put water in mine and then put a little peanutbutter on the ends to hold the water till it froze. Chewie loved the taste of the peanutbutter and the water. Just keep experimenting with his favorite foods. |
