| Update on Brittni & question about microchip HI all, Sorry, I have not been on here in a while. Wanted to let you all know that Brittni is doing MUCH better on the potty training. She is still sleeping with my husband and I in the bed and is now sleeping through the night without accidents. Have any of you have had your babies microchip'ed? I am taking Brit to get hers on Friday. Then she is also getting spayed next Tuesday Poor baby! Last edited by KaraBrittni; 04-26-2005 at 04:44 PM. Reason: my pictures were too big |

| I had heard it was best to micrcochip at the same time as the spay so they are under anesthesia and don't feel it. It is apparently a fairly large gauge needle and the chip is as big as a piece of rice and has to go through the needle. Maybe you could ask them to wait and do it Tuesday for her comfort. Just a suggestion. They may have reasons for doing it differently. |

| That is great news about Britnni!! Schatzie will be getting microchipped when she goes in to be spayed. Any bit of extra identification can never hurt and it's a real simple procedure while she is under anesthesia.

| I had Esme microchipped a month ago. My husbands cousin lost their yorkie in January. They got it back in March because of the microchip. That made me decide to microchip Esme asap. It was around $30 and then it cost $15 to register the chip. We just went into the vets office and had it done. She did yelp when they put it in (just like she does with all her shots), but after that she was back to normal. It was quick.
