| This is just to funny My Toto is so funny. I'm wondering if other yorkies do this. Lately he has been looking at himself in the mirror and then he begins to growl and bark. It seems as though he is upset. Its so funny, because he'll look at himself and then start growling and he'll walk away growling. Then he'll go back and start barking and growling again. My mom is so funny she said that he is probably growling at how ugly the groomer left his hair. Do any of your yorkies do this? At first i was wondering why he never did this, and then for this past week he begun doing this, now i wish he never did this because he starting to bark really loud at the mirror, and i don't know one to find out that i have him (live in apartments). Hopefully its just a phase. |

| Chachi does this. In fact he used to not really bark and now he barks at everyone including his own reflection. They sure do change.

| Hi, Yes, mine does it. We've not got a mirror that he can see, but there is a glass that he can see his reflection in. It was so cute, the first time he saw himself he started growling and ran up and grabbed a toy that was close to the glass and came running back with it. Didn't want that other dog to get his toy. Just the other day we were in the car and we were stopped and parked so I was letting him hang his head out the window. He saw himself in the side mirror and started growling and doing this real low quiet ruff ruff type of bark. Such a goofy boy! I don't live in an apartment or anything, so I think it's really cute. | Lil Bit has discovered reflections in glass doors...oven door....etc. I noticed her looking at the storm door and looking up and wagging her tail...then I realized she saw my reflection in the glass. I do have one floor length mirror that sits on the floor....(for the grand-babies to look at themselves)...Lil Bit has not seemed to notice herself in that one, though! |

| Diesel has also discovered his reflection; however he does not bark. He is always frightend by his reflection at first. He will walk by the mirror and run from his reflection. Then he will walk back and stretch his body as far as he can without getting in front of the mirror and look again. Once he figures out that it's not going to hurt him he will sit in front of the mirror and try to touch his reflection. It is soooooo cute!!!! |

| Tia spends about 20 minutes EVERY night barking at the dog looking back at her through the sliding glass door. She did this since the first night she came home and it is SO funny!

| I tried to get Schatzie to be interested in "her mirror image" but she just didn't care... I have seen some really awesome pictures taken with pets on a mirrored image but I can see it wont work here, too bad.

| Yep. Jack does this too. Mainly when he gets a quick glimpse of himself, I have a corner curio cabinet and it is difficult to see yourself in the mirrored back, so when he moves his reflection disappears, so he goes nuts trying to find it again. He also barks at my computer screen saver, it changes pictures every 20 seconds, and he watches it until it changes and barks at it. Whats weird is the pictures are of Ireland, no animals.
