| Sad Story though My husband is in the Army, and last year he received orders to go to Korea, he has been to Korea 3 times alone, we decided to go with him. Everything was going okay, in fact we all loved Korea, I even got a teaching job at the school my kids were attending, we loved it so much we thought about extending for 2 more years, until tragedy struck our family , There was an attempted kidnapping on my daughter by a Korean male she was only 8 at the time, this was in june 2006, it is the worst feeling a parent could ever have It happened right outside our door while she was outside with Tinkebell My baby and I (our whole family)were soooo scared the Army flew us back to the U.S. right away, but my husband had to stay back The reason why I am happy is that he is finally coming home...YAY on Tuesday, we have been through sooo much these last months it is unbelievable I wanted to share with you all because the kids dont know and daddy wants to surprise them they think he is coming home in a month. We are being stationed in Texas...so Texas here we come. My daughter and youngest were born in Texas. It is such a shame because we loved Korea, especially my daughter. We got Tinkerbell there in Korea.

| I am sooooo sorry this happened to you!! You must have been devastated!! I have 2 sons and I can't think of the horror if one of them were in danger like you daughter! How is she now? Have you been able to receive counselling for her and your family? What a terrible ordeal!! I know that sometime places appeal to us. My husband has had an opportunity to work in Indonesia, but I have requested we don't make that move until the boys are in University.maybe later in your life, Korea may be the place for you! Take care and wait till your Hubby comes home and you are all safe and sound! Then explore your options!

| OMG, how scary! I'm so glad that your daughter is OK. This f***** who tried to do this needs to get what's coming to him. It's so sad that that had to happen and ruin your stay in Korea. That's going to be an awesome surprise for your kids when their dad comes home...make sure to update us!!!

| Oh my gosh, that is so incredibly scary. I am so glad that the person was not successful. I am sure it has been so hard on your family and to have to leave and leave your husband behind. But now he is coming home and won't the kids be surprised!!! Support our troops

| Like I said it was the last thing on my mind, all the kids walk around there without parents I never did let my children walk alone, and like I said she was just outside our door and he came to try to take her, so that is even scarier, someone trying to take her from your doorstep I have always talked to my children about kidnapping and what more or less to do like scream, kick, punch, bite, anything to try to get away, honestly I was more afraid here than Korea because of all the the kidnappings you hear in the news. Count down for my hubby to come home, about 26 hours left...Yay!!!
