| puppies are great but.... i have to admit i have more of an opportunity to "bond" with snickers now that she is a lil (Tiny bit) calmer and will lay with me and night and not bite and just relax at night on my lap while i pet her or brush her coat she is still completely INSANE at times (which, of course, is fine) during the day but she settles down a lil easier and more often...and doesnt hesitate to roll right on her back and wait for that belly rub! i remember when she would NEVER let me flip her over on her back the young puppy stuff was GREAT and so fun... but its nice that i can lie next to her now... and look right into her eyes... and really enjoying her as my companion anyone else finding themselves enjoying their furkids lil changes as they grow older... snickers is 9months so still a puppy but what a change from 6months ago |

| potty training is easier too. Before I was a nervous wreck watching him like a hawk. He can go FOREVER without "going" and then without warning go anywhere. We are still working on trainintg (because mommy keeps changing it) but now he "thinks" before he goes. He knows more commands too...in fact...he just finished kindergarten. When I first got him...I couldn't get him to do anything. Too interested in everything else. suz |

| Not to say that I don't adore the cute things puppies do and how sweet they are when they're so little, but I have just LOVED watching Oscar grow - and he LISTENS now! I always say I can't wait until Ruthie gets a little bigger, a little older - but at the same time, don't want to wish these precious puppy months away. Oscar is my 'golden boy' now - sooo perfect. Ruthie is a little hellion and last night when she was terrorizing Oscar, I found myself kinda wishing for these puppy days to be over soon....
