| Question on car rides?? How in the world do you go anywhere with your babies?? My Pixie and Greenlee just insist on going with me sometimes..they jump into the car and won't budge and I like taking them places..but it is total chaos!! I know I am going to get into a wreck someday They both fight over lap territory and unless I have David with me I just can't do it anymore. And they will be so sad. A lady I work with was telling me that hergrandaughter had a small dog, I think Morky, and she got into just a MINOR accident and the dog didn't make it I have seen carseats on ebay and such,,,but they look too confining ...how do you take your babies for rides?? |

| DEFINITELY invest in a good car seat! They might look expensive, but theyre not bad when you consider that it could save your baby's life! I got one for Cali and she LOOOVES it! She curls right up in it and sleeps. She used to be a lap, but after a fender bender I decided NO MORE!

| Whenever mine ride in the car with us, they both ride in a large wire crate together. It has lots of blankets and stuff in it and it sits up high so they can see out. When I just had Hobbs, I would take him everywhere with me. I would just let him roam the car. He usually sat on my shoulder. But I realized that it was just too dangerous for him to be doing that. Now that we have Hootie, I don't feel bad about leaving Hobbs at home anymore. I don't take them with me on just little trips around town. They only go if we are going out of town or something. So, there is no reason for them to ride in the car outside their crate. Hootie actually freaks out if she is riding in the car and is not in her crate. |

| I LOVE the lookout console carseat and so does Ruby! I bought the extra large one for SUVs so that I could use it in my husband's Expedition and it's great. Before I got it, Ruby would do the same as your two. Now she is happy as a lark to lay between the two seats safely secured into her seat. In fact, its large enough that at times Roxy rides here with her.. I also have the regular lookout seat in the backseat that Roxy loves to cuddle up in and now Charlie rides here with her. While it technically is for 1 dog upto 18 lbs you can buy extra seatbelts to hold two small dogs. If it ever turns out that Ruby and Charlie prefer to ride together I'll definately order the the larger one which holds three pets or upto 25 lbs. Now everyone can see out the window - I can open the windows without fear of having a dog fall out - AND we can ride safely! Get a carseat(s) - you won't regret it! |

| My dogs were like that too, especially Wesley. He used to cry until I held him on my lap. But we bought a car seat for him and Maddie and it works great! It is made so that they sit higher up and are able to look out the window. It also has a strap to connect to their harnesses so that they can't jump out or fall out. I would definately recommend one. |

| I've tried the second one and it was awful. The dogs didn't like it and I had a difficult time using it. The first one is or similar too the one I have in my backseat. |

| well I only take mine with me one at a time. I dont take them many places anyway as nothing much here are dog friendly plus i'm just not one for taking them every where. I use to take Kizzy and she loved it and even now when I go to the bathroom and if I come out with different clothes on, no matter what, just a different shirt I went in their with she gets all beside herself. She just knows she's going if I am going some place, and hey, I dont go that much, sometimes I just change a shirt because maybe I got water or something on it and she things i'm going some place. then If I am going once I get my purse even if I sit it back down I cant walk for her and now maggie is right there with her ready to do whatever she thinks kizzy is gonna do. Not sure maggie realizes yet that I'm going. Just like a box. If I get just a small pkg in the mail, kizzy will fly up to me and stay right with me until I open it. she is jumping all over the place thinking she has something in it. lol. they are too funny.

| I would get a carseat, or keep them crated in the car. It's better to be safe than sorry, and even if your babies don't like it, they will learn to like it.

| We have a soft sided crate that has screening all around. It's large enough that Sara has lots of space and takes turns looking at us and napping. We call it her condo. We put a nice pad in it and she can play with her toys. She's content for even long trips |
