| Borrowed one's? I never used them. Before I got Kacee, someone insisted on giving me theirs to use, since they just store theirs now. Well, Kacee spent a sum total of probably 30 minutes if that in it.

| This was one of those plastic one's that ToysRUs carries or Petedge. They are one and the same. They're very sturdy. I think those are like about $100 for a six-section one if you're planning on needing it for the future, too.

While reading the whole thread I see you mention the plastic ones, but here's a thought. I use the metal ones by Midwest. When I got Chloe, she was the only baby I was going to have, then along came Sissy into our life. I love the playpens better then the crates. What I did was get the Midwest for her, then I wanted her to have room inside for bed, food dishes, and pp pad. so I hooked 2 together. When Sissy came along I added more, then because I leave them sometimes, Sissy being so much smaller, I took a playpen apart and placed a divided in using plastic ties. I recently found out I didn't have to purchase a whole playpen and take it apart, the metal Midwest playpens have panels you can buy as you want to increase the size of your pen. They are hard to find and Midwest claims to only sells them to one company. It is Cherrybrook.com.... SO then Sissy decides she is going to climb the sides of the playpen Sooo, I just ordered more panels ($8.30 each) and used plastic ties again (they do sell clips if you prefer) and I put an attractive top on the playpens using the panels. You can't add a roof to the plastic ones, they cost more for panels and thye can't see out as clearly as the metal ones. I travel every 2nd month to NY and this one is so easy to take a part and it lays right in the back of my SUV. not bulky to carry either.
