| ? about baths what is the youngest you have given a bath to a puppy? just the body not the face area. i know puppies will be puppies and that they roll around and play and sometimes even sleep where they have pee'd & pooped , and i have washed them with a wash rag but i was just wondering how young is to young to run them under running water to rinse them off. they do pretty good about going on the pad but still dont think anything about running right through it all. it dosent really bother me but after 6 weeks of it was wondering when some of you gave 1st baths

| I never heard of them being too young to bathe. I took my dog to the groomers the first day I got her and she was a couple of days shy of 8 weeks.

| I bathed my litter right after they started solid food. They were about 4 weeks old and had just been diving in the mushy food dish. Real cute, but real dirty too! |

| I got my yorkie when she was 7 weeks old and gave her a bath then. But I know the breeder had given her a bath before then. So, I don't really know for sure what is "too" young. |

| I got kizzy at 6 weeks and maggie at 8 weeks, gave them both baths their 2nd day. I would have the first day but it was lil too late for a bath that day. I even wash new clothes before I wear them. Reason is, I dont know what all these puppies have rolled in and when I get new clothes I dont have a clue who or how many people or what kind of people have tried them on. Call me a stickler but its just the way I am. I just like knowing things here are clean tho i'm not a great house keeper, Its clean.
