| PAINTING a Dog House.. Help!! Ok, I bought a dog house that is unfinished and Need some Ideas for painting it. I have a 1 1/2 year old Male Yorkie, and a Beagle Puppy Girl. She is about 3 Months old. I want something fun, but not too crazy.. If there is any creative people (or not) I would really appreciate any help on this. It is a slant roof dog house with the door off to the left a little. |

| Hmmmm... lets see.... maybe something barn-style with other animals looking out some 'windows'.... or a mall where dogs go shopping... or a jungle... or with roman pilars and 'Villa Canem' over the door... or a hotel and a 'Do Not Disturb' sign... or Lego blocks... or a palace... or a beach scene with dogs in lounge chairs... or a tree house... or a mini replica of your house... |

| You could paint it like a house with curtains in the window, flower boxes with flowers. Stone or brick bottom. Get some home magazines and get all kinds of idea....good luck!!!

| I was just talking to my hubby about this the other day. I asked him to build a small doghouse for Jake that I can use indoors for him to sleep in to give him some variety other than his dog bed. My idea was to put a door on the front and then put his name over the door. I want windows on the sides and back and I want the inside lined with fleece so it'll be nice and soft and warm. I want to put little flower boxes on the outside of the windows and put some artificial flowers in them...or maybe even paint them on...maybe even paint some curtains on there. Good luck in whatever you decide to do! Be sure and post pics for us! |
