| Well, we took Simba and Pepe to Yosemite last year when Simba was about 6 month old. We didn't camp though but stayed in a cabin. The dogs loved running through the woods- I think they had a better time than we did. I always kept an eye on them but they never strayed or went away far. It also depends where you camp and what kind of wildlive is there, for example we didn't do a certain hike because there was a warning that a coyote had tried to snatch up a dog, etc. I think as long as you watch him a little you will be fine. We had a great time. Anita |

| I haven't taken Little Bit camping but I'm taking her on a road trip from Texas to Maryland starting tomorrow. Have no idea how that will go. Hope I can get motel rooms & I'm probably not going to like having to rotate between Sonic & McDonald's for my meals. |

| Hi, we are just back from camping but i'm in the UK so biggest thing Buddy met was a rabbit! lol we just always make sure he's frontlined and i keep him on a long lead all the time or on a long leash staked next to our tent, but then as i said, i dont have any worries of anything trying to eat him here!! but he loves camping more than any of us i think, so as long as you keep Rocky close i bet he'll love it too.

| We have taken Rexy and Rowdy camping with us the past 2 summers - but, we "camp" in our travel trailer. Nonetheless, they are always out in the brambles and brush. You DO have to watch that they don't eat any trash that might be lying around. We take our 2 X-pens and put them together for a big play area. We also take an indoor/outdoor carpet (cheap one purchased at home depot) to put under them if the ground is yukky. If there is grass though, we don't put the carpet down. We have 2, 25 ft. leashes and a stake so that we can stake them out also and they can romp and play. Where we camp, they cannot be off leash. My guys absolutely love it - we were camped on the Conejos river in southern Colorado for 5 weeks this summer. One word of caution though, for the first time, they got Giardia, probably from the river water or perhaps from wildlife poop in the grass. They had diarrhea but they were eating and weren't sick. I did have to put them on antibiotics to get it cleared up. Also, we cut their hair short in a puppy cut becasue they can get all sorts of sticks, stickers, etc in their hair if it is long.

| We camp all the time! THey love it... we used to have to keep the dog food in the bear bins, but hmm, guessing we only have to worry about cougars down here. The only thing was is that Cricket learned how to escape from our tent so we have to pin down the zippers on the tent! |

| It is the metal pen that is either 3 or 4 foot tall (we have a 4 foot one, I don't want any climbing out!) and then is in sections that fold down or fold out and then you can make a pen the shape that you want. You get them at Petsmart or Petco. It's hard to explain, but here is a pix of our boyz in the Xpen this summer on the river. We bought 2 of them and put them together to make a bigger play area

| My dogs love to go camping. They love to be outdoors and end up getting to go on more walks since we are outside. We camp in a tent and they do great. I don't trust mine off leash as my chi is a runner. I also take an xpen and a long rope with stake. The do great and love it. I'm sure yours will love it too. Just keep a close eye on him. |
