Puppy Cut....Help with Directions Help! Going tomorrow! What kind of blade do you have them use for a puppy cut? I like it short, but not shaved....what would I ask for if I want the hair about 1.5 or 2 inches long on the back and legs? I think my person used a 7 last time. Is a 10 shorter than a 7 (I have no idea as last time was the first time I had my baby groomed...and it was just a wee bit short for my liking, but still cute).

| Baxter is jealous I am so jealous and so is Baxter. Your Baby looks exactly what I wanted done to Baxter last week. He is so cute! Baxters hair will grow, but he was basically shaved on his back. Oh well. This was the second time she screwed up. I gave her another chance, with specific directions. Guess I will have to find a new one. Glad yours turned out better than mine

poor Baxter Sorry it didn't go well for Baxter. This is the first time either one of mine has ever been groomed....I was so nervous. But after I took a look at Bosco and got used to the shorter hair, I took Kuzco a week later. The groomer works at the kennel where we keep them when we're out of town and can't take pets! I've seen her work and been around her for the last four years when I've taken Kuzco (and now, Bosco) to stay with them. I still can't get Bosco to sit still for pictures and look at me! He either looks to one side or the other...or if he looks straight at me, he puts his ears down and his eyes look wierd and green because I'm so close with the camera! Kuzco is a ham and will pose at any time.

Bosco Okay, I have some pics..these are the best I could get of him by myself (with no one holding him!) You will see some of his personality: Such as his nickname of BITA (bu** in the air), "must eat cookie before Kuzie comes in here", Hurry and take my pic before I go jump Tiger (the cat) and OOOOO, I'm a ghost dog with my scary green eyes!!!!

I am so glad I found this! Diesel is going to get cut in the morning. I want a long puppy cut. So I should ask for a faily low number blade.I am soooo nervous! Thanks for any extra info. Michelle

thanks We laugh and call him BITA BOTG(EE) -- he'll stay in that crouched position (pic 2 above) for an unbelievable amount of time and then plop his bu** down...so we say, b** in the air, b** on the ground...BITA, BOTG(ee) (beeta botgee)....he gets a big kick out of it (almost as big a kick as my girls and I get) ha ha ha Thanks for your comments.. Michelle: I'm sure diesel will be fine. I would say a lower number....Bosco was a 7 but Kuzco had to be lower. I know she trimmed his face with scissors. I was so nervous and I really love the results. It takes literally one minute to brush them now, with a soft brush they don't mind at all.
