Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Brother/Sister or Boyfriend/Girlfriend I have a male and a female that are no relation to one another. Jack is neutered and Jill will be spayed soon. How do I refer to them. Well, I call them my kids, but when I am talking to them are they brother/sister or boyfriend/girlfriend? Just not sure how to communicate their relationship. What's your thoughts YT's???

| Good question. I guess with out even thinking about it I call Ginger/Kirby/and even Fun Kitty brothers and sister. Of course, now that you bring it up, that's kinda odd considering Kirby sometimes tries to get Frisky with his "sister".... oh great, something else for me to worry about lol

| Mine will some day be mated, hopefully. But I still refer to them as brother sister. I'm the mom and they're my kids so they must be siblings. They don't really care what I call them as long as it's not late for supper. LOL |

| I refer to Oscar and Ruthie as brother and sister. Oscar was neutered and he had never even started humping anything so I don't have to worry about that at all. Although, one day they were full out 'french' kissing and I tried to explain to them that it was inappropriate but they didn't care, lol. They're cute, the fight, play, and love each other like siblings. It totally reminds me of the older brother/younger sister dynamic - where the little one can sometimes be a pain in the butt and 'egg on' the older one, who plays along to a point, then as the 'mature' one backs off.

| I have two dogs - and they are my "little dogs" ----- definitely not my children. I raised my children years ago - and they are grown and have families and pets of their own. Personally, I love my little "dogs" - especially because they are dogs and have the traits that dogs have...... the special love and loyality - always happy to see us - forever ready to go with us wherever we go -- and so much more ------ "not really like children at all!" But, of course, children are wonderful too --- I certainly enjoyed raising mine. I think of my dog's relationship as being "best friends" --- they sleep together - and play together all day long. They usually eat together -- and there is no doubt that they are very good friends. Carol Jean |

| Well Hootie and Hobbs have the exact same parents, but Hootie is from a subsequent litter, so Hootie is literally Hobbs' "little sister." He is such a good big brother! |
