| A little prayer request... Found out last night that my Grannie is in the hospital. Doesn't make to much sense to me what is going on but she does need prayers. Here goes... Mom said she has 2 main arteries blocked in her stomach. If they feed her anything (including water) that they could rupture putting bile, stood (who knows) into her system and kill her within hours or less. Can't do surgery to fix them cause her lungs are too bad (smoking since she was 12 or so) So I ask what are they going to do, they can't just not feed her can they? Mom doesn't know, she will call me when the Dr. comes around. She has 7 children and only 3 will have anything to do with her. She has been a really mean lady over the years. She is still my Grannie I just over look her. I can't imagine how she feels to hear that they can't feed her. What must be going through her mind? Thanks in advance for your prayers. |

| You are a good granddaughter to love your Grannie in spite of her flaws!! We will certainly remember her in our prayers! Just keep loving her and be sure to tell her every chance you get ... you would be surprised how those three little words can melt the hardest heart!!

| Oh Sweetie! That is such a tough thing to go through. My mother was also a difficult woman at times and made our lives miserable even though she loved us very much. She succumbed to Alheimer's in November and I was with her the day she passed away. I told her it was okay to go and that we had fought hard and loved hard over the years, and that everything was all right between us. She couldn't respond at that time, but I know she heard me. She died late that night and went to God. I'll keep your family in my prayers, and remember to tell her everything you want to say in case she doesn't make it. Sometimes the good Lord can fool the doctors though! "For I will restore health to you and heal your wounds." --Jeremiah 30:17 God bless! |

| Lovebug, Your granny and family are in my prayers. A hole in the bowel is a serious complication, one which most folks with compromised health just cannot overcome. Keep us updated! |

| My prayer are with you and your family. It's hard when they get older, but they will surprise you every time. We lost my grandmother feb 21, she is missed but she had a great life, lived to be over 96 and her health failed her for only 2 weeks before she passed. Take care

| Thanks for all the prayers. They worked. The Drs. misdiagnosed her. (Heart and lung dr.) We are waiting on the stomach dr. to come. They are feeding her liquids now. I am still quite upset about the whole thing. It just stinks being her so far away and not being able to hear the dr. for myself. I feel so helpless. But I am very glad that they were wrong. Oh by the way they said if their diagnosis would have been right she wouldn't have made it 48 hrs. I feel like they aren't they considerate. Thanks again for the prayers. They really did work even if it makes me mad that drs. can mess up like that (yea I know they are human and don't know I am so far away) |

| I'm glad things are looking up for your granny! It is so hard to have a loved one suffering. You say you feel helpless being so far away, but you are doing lots by putting out prayer requests for her! I'll be praying, along with all the others! Best wishes to you and your granny! |
