| Has anyone changed their dogs name After using the first name for a couple of week? Was it hard for you to get use to calling them by the new name. I started calling kacee, maggie yesterday and sometimes i will automatically call her kacee without thinking. I am working hard on not doing that. But i've called her Maggie more than kacee but I didnt realize when I started with the change it would be hard for me. So this morning first thing I said come here kacee(then it hit me) and i added maggie. i said come here kacee uh kacee maggie. lol So the rest of the day maggie is coming out better now. Hubby dont want me to change her name. But he never calls her anything anyway but the baby or the little one if he is talking to me about her. So I Suppose since i'm here with her all day, I can change it to whatever I want to call her, like I told him. He also didnt like the name Kizzy but he is so use to it now he thinks nothing of it. I think when their new and little only thing fits for him is baby or the baby. he use to call Kizzy that too. it was always come here baby. I do that too but when I really want them to pay attn or come to me i call them by name. Just wondering if it was hard for anyone else to get use to calling theirs a new name.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | My new Yorkies name was Pebbles when I got her and hated it. I've changed it to Meiah (Mee -a) and she already knows it and she's 11 months! |

| When we rescued Gage last year, previous owner (if you could call him that) had been calling him Little Man - I hated that! So after a few days in our home, and to ensure he got to stay, I let DH decide on the name - he picked Gage

| We kept Misha's name, although her papers say Two Moons Gwyneth We changed Pipers. Her Breeder was calling her Bessie, do to her colors. She looked like a Bessy cow. Piper got her name also from the colors in the sand pipers here in florida. |

| When I first got my Bella, I had a million different names to call her and I just couldn't settle on one. So for about 2 weeks, Bella had a new name daily- until I finally decided on Bella. |

| Zoe is named so but she has quite a few nicknames we call her and she responds to...pumpkin, munchkin, cutie, baby, girl, etc. They slowly learn them

| The breeder named my little girl Lady, but her previous owner that had her for 2 months before deciding she didn't want her, called her Brianna. My cousins name is Brianna, so I really didn't want to call her that, but she responded to it, so I shortened it to Bree. I don't call her Brianna that much. Just when I really need to get her attention! |

| AWWWWE! So, your changing Kacee's name to Maggie? How sweet! I love it! I think that she is so young that she will catch on really quickly with no problems at all!! When we got Hootie, we called her Reesie for about 2 days, then realized it just didn't fit her personality. So, we changed it to Hootie. Sometimes you just gotta change their name, you know? |

| thanks all who complimented Kacees name change. Personally, I still liked kacee and kizzy but too much getting my tongue wrapped around my eye teeth and couldnt see what I was saying. lol. She looks cute when I call her Maggie tho. She is gonna be mean. She isnt scared of Kizzys big 8 lb bark or growl. She as soon attack her as she would another 1.6 pounder. I really mean it. Kizzy can be laying there and here she comes, she jumps on her face and nips her hair, and when she chases her she nips on kizzys legs and they have a time. Kizzy had been good about not hurting her. I know kizzy could if she were just mean. So I think Maggie is gonna end up being the one keeping more trouble going than Kizzy. They are too funny. I love to see Maggie run with those little short (barely) legs. But she can run fast. I know everyone elses does these cute things also but this is the first time ive ever had 2 puppies together and watched them play. lol I got pictures galore of them fighting.
