| Stopped growing already? Snickers will be 7 months old tomorrow & he hasn't gained an ounce or an inch in over a month. Do they just slow down, or could he possibly be full grown? I thought toy breed dogs took between 1 & 1/1/2 years to reach adult size?? |

| They're pretty close to their adult size around 6 months or so. After that most fill out a little more than get bigger. Of course there are exceptions but Snickers could very well have finished growing.

| All dogs are different on this. My Jewels stopped growing at 7 months. Chachi grew untill 11 months. He may be done or he might still have a growth spurt

| Thanks for the input! I'm secretly hoping he's done I know we all think our babies are perfect (and they are of course!) But I love Snickers at 5 lbs & 11 inches from neck to tail. I definately wouldn't mind him chunking up a bit. He's a bit skinny.....I've heard that they chunk up a bit after they are neutered as well. |

| With all of mine, they were pretty much done at 8 months though I suspect most do ad length, height, and a fullness that is imperceptible unless you had a time lapse camera. Ok, who wants to take the challenge? |
