| I have 6 yorkies and buy a large size tube of Advantage.. I measure out the right amount to give (3-4 drops) and one tube will run mine several months..big savings. |

My furkids Donating Member | I use Advantage also. Sadie has only had fleas once last year. I only put it on her when I notice she has fleas other than that...I don't use anything.

I do the same thing, but with Revolution. That way we get the heartworms and mites too.

| I use Frontline Plus. The fleas are SOOOOO bad where I am right now. But, within a day of putting the Frontline Plus on, they stop scratching altogether! It is like a light switch! The only thing that I am not pleased with is that it does not last us the whole month. About 3 weeks in, they start scratching again. I brought this up with my vet and she told me that I could give them Frontline Plus every 2 weeks with no problems. So, I am going to just give it to them every 3 weeks, since that it when it seems to stop working for us. |

| I give herbs in the food (according to what my vet told me): black walnut, herbal compound (has garlic in it). I bathe him with Aubreys organics which has natural repellants in them that are pretty strong. I use Quantum Pet Spray if we are going into the woods and I check him for ticks when we come out. We have had no fleas (and he goes EVERYWHERE). One tick that never got "in" him. suzie |
