| How long should their be at 6 months? How before it gets close to the ground. Her hair is not growing very fast at all. |

| Lexie is almost 11 months and her hair is no where near the ground yet...I would say, I am not an expert on this but 2 years... I am sure there are alot of YT that know and will tell you.....

| I was wondering the same thing but my sister in law told me when she was home that it took her yorkie between a year and 1/2 to 2 yrs.

| Jo is 20 months and Riley is about 14 months...both of them have hair about an inch from the ground but they both have pretty short legs! |

| My Ruby 's kinda stuck half way and grows slow now. Little Pearl's was ust touching the ground at 8 months...UHHHHHHHHHHHH Then I shaved it all off

| Trixie was about a year old when her coat finally 'calmed down' and started growing longer. Until then, you could brush her and in about 2 minutes she would just look like a scruffy dumpster dog. Cody's hair didn't grow long and tame until we broke down and had him cut pretty short, then it grew back nicely. |

| I've read it can take up to 3 years. but each dog is different. I think the fine silky coats grow slower. |

| Abigail is almost 2 and hers is still not the ground yet I have had her trimmed twice but it was only a little but her hair is maybe halfway maybe a little shorter but she has a fine silky coat.
