| My vet recommends Frontline. Is that advantage or Advantics? My vet said there were too many complaints on the Advantics not working |

| I use Frontline. I tried asking my vet which was the best, he told me some info on each. But then I asked which one he used, and he said Frontline. |

| I've always used frontline for my cats and had no problems or fleas. This is the first time I used Frontline on my Yorkie. He scratched constantly, even three weeks later,I even saw two fleas on his belly that were alive and kicking. I jusy put another dose on him two days ago, and he's still scratching. I thought maybe I got more in his hair than on his skin, but if he continues to scratch after this second dose I won't be using Frontline on my yorkie again. |

| I use frontline on Jake. It works great, I've never you the others. Frontline kills on both flea's and ticks. Advantix says that it kills fleas and repels and kills a majority of ticks and mosquitoes. Advantage say that it only kills fleas. |

| Maybe I should be using Frontline...the vet gave me a couple of really small tubes of Advantage because Diamond is so small. It takes about 2 mins. to put it on her. I haven't had any problems so far. She does itch and rub her body against anything she can but that is usually when we come back inside from being out and I think it's because the harness gets to her sometimes.

| I don't know about the advantix but I have been using advantage for years now and have never had a single flea or any flea problems. I heard that advantix was dangerous because of an ingredient it has permethrin(sp?) which is dangerous and hartz uses the same ingredient, but I don't know if that is true.

| We use Advantage. I know it doesn't prevent ticks so I wanted to switch to Frontline, but Advantage has a dose for dogs under 10 lbs and Frontline's smallest is for under 25 lbs (I think). I thought that might be too strong for Oliver (he's 3 lbs). |
