| Weird bump Okay, about two weeks ago I found a tick on Ginger’s neck (gross, I know). I got it out (with the head, I thought) but last night I noticed she has a bump where the tick was. I have absolutely no tick removal experience so I don’t know if this is normal or what it could be. I’m reluctant to take her to the vet but I will if I have to. But I thought I would check with you guys first. Anyone know what it is, or have had similar experiences, or advice? Thanks in advance for your help.

| I just got off the phone with the vet and she said it was normal for her skin to have a reaction to the tick biting her and it should go away in a few days or so. I just wanted to ad a result to my question just in case someone else was wondering too.

| When Jaxon got his first tick bite, the bump was there for quite awhile. I had the vet check it when he was in for something else and they figured it was fine. Are you using any tick prevention treatment like Advantix? Ticks are gross little creatures and I'm sure if I didn't use something, Jaxon would have them all the time.
