| Heating Pad Or Blanket Or Bottle Is The ? I Have my neighbor needs help. her boxer is due to have puppies and she doesn't know if she should use a heating pad, heating blanket, or bottle for the puppies. i told her i would ask the forum and see what they feel is best. the puppies are not due until end of aug. please give me your best feelings regarding this. thanks so much

| Being that it is Summer, I don't think she'll need any of them. Just keep them out of drafts and remember that they do not produce any body heat for 3 days. They will be plenty warm nestled up to their Mamma. Tell her to keep a very close eye on them at first ... they will get stuck under blankets and possibly even their Mamma and she will not remove them. They get around as soon as they're born. I truly hope all goes well |
