| My dog's ears!!!! My dog is 11 months old - and his ears were straight up when I got him at 8 weeks. Then, like all little Yorkies, they went up and down for a while, and finally at about three months they were up to stay. But - I am beginning to notice an interesting thing about him and his ears. He is very friendly and loves everyone, but at the same time is very submissive --- he usually runs right up to any person or animal and promptly rolls over on his back to get his stomach petted in a very submissive position. And I am noticing that when he first runs up to people or other animals that his ears also go back (like a little rabbit's) --- probably another submissive posture. In fact, whenever his tail is wagging - his ears go down --- and when his tail stops wagging - his ears go back up. How about that!!!!! Carol Jean I |

| Peaches, ears also goes back when approached or approaching another dog or human. Also when she is unsure of the animal or human but yet excited to check them out she as well wags her tail and ears go back up then down... but once she is completely confident... Ears stay standing |

| Scampers also does that. When he meets people or other dogs his ears will go back just like a rabbits. They also do that when he is running or playing. It is just the cutest thing!!!
