| Yorkie Bangs I have a ? Kahlua has never been groomed because I still like her hair as is. I was putting her hair in bows. I always took the hair right above her nose and pulled it up. But the only time I pull it up is when we go somewhere and I really want to show her off! I'm always scared she will get a headache if I leave her hair up to long!( Even though I make sure it's not to tight.) But her bangs were hanging in her eyes and my husband told me I needed to trim her bangs so it wouldn't hurt her vision. So I did! And I really like her with bangs! And would like to keep them. But is this going to look funny if I put her bows in right between her ears, even though I was supposed to put it in where the bangs I trimmed were? Because I know that's the general place to put the bows. But I think the bangs are just to cute!!! And sorry I have not posted any pictures of Kahlua yet! I want to take her to Stedman's mommy's house so she can take some pictures. She has a much better camera than I do. So I hope to have some up for you really soon! And thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome!!! |

| I have seen other yorkies with bangs that put the hair up the way you described and it looks really cute. I can't wait to see pics of your furbaby.

| I use to have 3 of mine like that, but now I'm letting the bangs grow out. Not a fun task. I just want to put all the hair up in a bow and when I get tired of that, then I will go back to bangs again.

To grow them out, do you just let them grow? I know that sounds stupid, but do I have them trimmed or anything? Or tell the groomer not to touch them?

It turned out really cute!! http://static.flickr.com/69/159585482_1623649148_b.jpg Well, I guess that you'll have to go to the link since [img] is turned off. |

| Dixie has bangs. I only put her lovely long locks up in a topknot occaisonally and I love to see her pretty eyes behind all that fur.

make your 2 fingers like a pair of scissors and place the hair between your fingers where your fingers are hiding there eyes so they cant see what your doing, then you can cut it evenly across your fingers! | |

| Maddie has bangs! I thought I wanted that at first. Then, seeing all the beauties on YT I keep thinking I should grow them out and see how that looks. I can only go so long with them growing out and I have to cut them again. LOL I do think bangs are cute and think they have a cute side view with bangs too. I do the same as you...put the hair behind her bangs up and in a bow. Looking forward to seeing pics of Kahlua!
