| I use Johnson's no more tangles for children. She seems to like the smell of it.

| I use Chris Christensen. You can find their site by googling their name. I use Ice on Ice to brush on before I brush. i am getting some Cowboy Magic too because I have heard that is a great product.

| The reason you shouldn't comb your yorkie's hair dry, is because it can break the hair- so what I do is use a spray on, leave-in conditioner. I spray it in my hands, and then massage it into Schatzi's fur before I brush, then comb it. Leave in conditioner is good for getting mats out of hair also, and it makes your doggie smell good between baths! Since my dog is just a puppy, I'm using Pet Vantage Botanical tearless puppy shampoo. I bathe her once a week, and then after she's towel dried I apply the leave in conditioner before brushing. Hope this helps! I don't know how old your furbaby is, but as they get older I've heard that Cowboy Magic works really well for longer adult coats.

| I have the cowboy magic shampoo, conditioner, and detangler and I use the detangler between baths when I brush her. I love it.

| Another Chris Christensen fan here. I love the way it smells. As previously mentioned, I order it online. One of the best tips I read somewhere was to pour a small amount into a cup to pour on him at the end of the bath instead of spraying it on him (he hates that).

| I was not talking about the shampoo, I was talking about the detangler only. I spray a little on the tangles to comb them out.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | sorry to drag this back up but i'm curious to find out something from those who use chris christensen ice on ice or cowboy magic detangler. you all swear by these products and say you shouldn't brush a dry coat, but does this matter if its a puppy coat? Morgan is 3 1/2 months and i brush her dry coat at night with a comb. am i not suppose to be brushing her dry at his age as well or does that only count when they have their 'adult coats'?

| Can someone explain Cowboy Magic to me? I have Ice on Ice and I use that before I brush, but I keep reading about Cowboy Magic and I'm intrigued. |
