| Feeding time with Sydnee? I think I put it in the wrong thread This is going to probably sound off the wall, but is anybody else's baby going through I don't want to eat unless you sit here with me stage? Sydnee will not eat for some reason unless I am right there with her. This is new for her. She was very good about eating, but now I have to eat when she does or she won't eat.

| Everyday! Esme has been like this since we got her though. I used to have to sit her on my lap and hand feed her. Little by little it has gotten better though. Instead of sitting, I can now stand by her bowl. I am trying to slowly get further and further away so she doesn't need me eventually. Mari

| You're not alone I'm going through the same thing w/ Porter. He only eats if I'm right there w/ him. I dont know why he does this??? And if I walk away, so will he....but I know he's hungry. I dont know what to do about the problem, so I end up standing next to his bowl of food....waiting for him to eat up!! |

| Oh thank God I thought somewhere along the line I had traumatize her and she was unable to eat unless she felt safe or something. Maybe its because I am with her 24/7. I go she goes, I can't even go to the potty without her wanting to go also. Finally gave in a put a potty pad in the bathroom, so she can go at the same time, I mean she was anyway. Reminds of me of potty training my son, maybe I can teach her to use the bathroom and flush? Well, I can dream.

| When my baby was little he wouldn't eat. So i started feeding him from a spoon and he would refuse to eat unless it was from a spoon, eventually in a few days he started to eat by himself. Thank God. Imagine having to feed them with a spoon all the time. |
