| Question about the ears Hello everybody. This is my first post and it's a question. I'm thinking of getting this puppy. She is 11 weeks and 2 lbs exactly. a) how big do you think she'll get b) do you think her ears will stand up. She has a sister and her ears started standing up last week. I think she is adorable regardless, just trying to make and informed decision. Thanks, Felicia |

| She's adorable. One thing I know about the ears is that they go up at different times for different dogs, even ones in the same litter. The new little boy that I have has his ears up (11 weeks), one of his brothers ears are half way up, and the other one has his ears completely down. I wouldn't worry. I'm sure her ears will come up soon. |

| My guess on weight would be she will get to be about 4 1/2 pounds. She has a lot of fur so just trimming the weight off of her ears will probably make them stand, but no guarantees. Looking again, her ears do look "set" a little different, more turned to the side and further apart. |

| What a cute face she has!! Ears up or down she is adorable!!!! I am thinking more 4 to 5 lb range. How much did her grandparents weigh. I heard that is what you need to go by.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Ohhh there both adorable but if you want one with stand up ears I would go with her as you know her ears will stand up. with the first there is no guarantee that they will. Maybe you could ask the Breeder to take some hair off her ears to see if they come up. I think they are both cute but prefer the face on the first little girl. JMO

| Welcome to YT. It sounds like the little guy will be small. It would be a rare thing if the ears did not stand up. Sometimes they need a little help, but most all of them stand up. I hope you get him, and good luck. Keep us posted and post pictures. |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | omg so cute first off welcome to yt you will get alot of good info here! i would definently ask the breeder to shave her ears and see if they stand if i had a choice between the 2 i really like the first one omg she is so cute!!!! they say to take thier weight at 12 weeks and double it or you can look at a growth chart on yt so dhe'd prob be in the 4-5 lbd range she is a doll though!!! Let us know if you get her!
