| Do Yorkies Snore? Hi everyone. First off, I want to officially introduce myself on this forum. I have been a lurker for the past year on this forum. But a couple of days ago, I made it official, and finally registered as a user to this forum. I have to say, everyone on YT is very friendly and informative. I have learned so much on this forum! I have met a couple of the YT members and have been conversing with them thru PM's but this is my first post. Hi everyone! I am a proud owner of a 3 yr old yorkie, named Mocha. He is 5 lbs and spoiled rotten. I had a quick question. Is it normal for yorkies to snore? Mocha sleeps with me in my bed and he is so LOUD! But I'm so used to his snoring that I don't even notice it anymore. My family came over to visit from out of state the past week. They noticed Mocha's snoring and commented on this. So I wanted to post on YT to see if any of your yorkies snore as well? Is that unusual? I can usually tell if Mocha is sleeping really good because then his snoring becomes louder! So cute! ~ajoyjoie |

| Tila snores, but isn't very loud just enough for me to hear her I think it's funny. I'm sure it's ok, I think it's just when she's in her deep parts of sleep, or when she has a little runny type nose, which she has sometimes. I don't think anythings wrong with it but you should ask the vet since it's loud |

| Welcome to YT. Out of my four, Joey is the only one who snores and he does a good job of it. Not too loud. It's mostly when he is in a deep sleep.

| Gizmo lays on his back on the top of couch and sleeps there. I've heard him snore before but the other night he was really going at it. My husband could hear him on the other side of the room it was so loud. Our other ones snore one in a while but Gizmo is fairly regular.

| Both my boys snore and it's too cute! They only snore loudly when one of them has a cold or congestion. Otherwise it's just a low hum. Welcome to YT!

| Oliver snores once in a while, but mostly, when he's in a deep sleep, he'll whimper, so we figure he's dreaming. lol. It's just too cute!
