| Hubby says I can get another yorkie.. I want a female... but he's saying I can only spend $350! And that if I want anything higher I have to go out and make the money I'm a stay at home mom.. I'm soo sad! We found a lady who's selling cheap, but they have whip worm and from what I read it's really hard to get rid of! I don't want to risk Cash or my daughter... And I've looked at Petfinder.com and all of those say no kids, so I'm like cut off I guess I had seen a free silky in Tennessee, called and missed him by a couple hours!! how disappointing! Well sorry to "whine" to ya'll!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | The good news is you got the go ahead, the bad news is the budget is a bit short for nowaday prices. If you are patient though, you just might find one. Be deligent in your search her on YT because I have seen some in the for sale forum that are just looking to place their little furbaby in a loving home. Sounds like you have that! Good Luck in your seach and be sure let us know if you are successful!

| How about a rescue? Those might be in your price range and they desperately need a new good home. Congratulations on getting the 'green light'! |

| I guess I'd be hitting the streets, looking for a job. It wouldn't take long if you found opposite hours than your husband works so you won't need day care. After a week of cooking his own supper, he might even cough up the cash. |

| You could tell all your family and friends that if they would like a night out, you will watch their kids or dogs for so much per hour. Let them know you are trying to save for a Yorkie and maybe they'll help you while you help them? OR if you just want to work long enough to save the money, offer to run errands for shut-ins, do light housekeeping, etc. Just a couple of ideas.

| Check the rescue programs. There are many Yorkies that need forever homes. I adopted my special guy in April. (He was mostly house trained. Now he lets us know whenever he needs to go out.) You can talk to the "foster parent" and get a good idea about the temperament of the dog. BTW, I found him by going to petfinder.com. I looked for a while until he appeared on the site. The "cost" is a donation to the rescue program. Sean will be 7 tomorrow. Special birthday celebration in my house for him!! In a very short time he has become an important member of the family. |

| Has your birthday gone by? If not ask everyone to give you money this year and see how much you can get that way. That combined with all the other ideas here can help put a dent in the price. I know that yorkies are expensive I had to pay alot for my 2, but atleast he has agreed to let you add another. I got the green light in January and I just got my 2nd yorkie. I wish you the best. |
