| How Should a Harness Fit? TCC bought a silk harness from chattiesmom for Angel, and she's not used to wearing it. She keeps biting at the harness that's in the chest area closest to her mouth. She looked restricted while walking, but I can fit at least 2 fingers (one on top of the other) under it. She's acting sad and depressed and was just lying in her bed after we told her "no" to stop biting it. We know she needs to get used to it. How should it fit on her body? |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | My furbabies have the step in harness from Chattiesmom. You are correct, she will have to get used to wearing it. I have caught Jill a couple of time trying to bite at hers but just distracted her and she stopped. They are adjustable so maybe you want to tighten it a little. I have attached a picture. They are a very nice step in harness and work great for taking the furbabies for a walk. Good luck and hope this helps.

| that sounds about right to me. I had the vet chk kizzys on her just to make sure it was right and he said yes. But she loves to lay on her back and chew on the top of it and I just make her quit when I catch her doing it and in a few minutes she is up playing like nothing happened. Hers isnt new and its the webbed kind, like you see everywhere. I've just ordered a silk one from Chattiesmom. But I can get two fingers between Kizzys top strap and her body and also the bottom strap, so it is a little loose to me. But the vet said its fine. I'll have to beat her when she starts chewing on the silk one. LOL, i'm kidding.
