| International and UKC Champion Alegria Southern Comfort Little Dixie went to the International Shows this last weekend with his handler and friend Peggy. My little man came home with his International Title. He is now a International and UKC Champion. Peggy may be taking him out later this fall to some AKC shows to work on his AKC Title. Dixie is only 3 1/2 pounds so we have to have the right Judges and be at the right shows. Most of the males shown in my area make Dixie look like a puppy. I have always been very critical of Dixie - it was great to look at the three Judges reports from the International on how they rated him to the breed standard and see that he really is a nice boy. I have been too critical of him. due to his size. He has always been just my lapdog. Kathy |

| Thank you for the welcome back. I have been on a medical leave of absence. I broke my leg several months ago- the computer is upstairs and I was confind downstairs. My daughter had back surgery and then my son was found to have a mass behind his ear. My cup has runneth over with medical concerns. Put us all together and you would still have a hard time finding enough healthy pieces for one healthy body. The mass behind Nick's ear has been frightening because there were concerns about him having the same type of cancer I have. The location was the same. We go back tomorrow for more surgery behind his ear. We hope that this takes care of things. Dixie going to the show was a very nice experience for us. He had not been out since last fall when we got his UKC title. He has been spending most of his time on the couch with me. Kathy |

Thank you for your kind comments and concern. We are hoping that this will not put a hold on this year and his football. Nick made the All-America Team for Defense in High School Sophomores all across the Untied States for 2005. He has been scouted by a bunch of division I colleges. We are very proud of him and all that he has acheived and he takes his Football and Education quite seriuosly. Dixie had no choice but to go with Peggy- he could not have his two legged brother get ahead of him with awards. We have placed it into God's hands. It will all work out. With all the medical things going on here there had not been any time or funds to show and or raise any puppies till of late. The dogs have all been sitting on the couch with me getting fat and sassy. | |
