| Oh dear, but i think animal control have done whats best as, your yorkie is considered dangerous and therefore needs a muzzle or training or something so it doesnt bite anyone/animal again. Your baby was lucky that he wasnt killed by that horse. Good Luck in getting your baby back. |

| in my small rural community my yorkie is classified as a dangerous animal and hence his picture is posted around town as dangerous and beware. This irks me-imagine a Yorkie classied as dangerous and posted as such.My lawyer is going to fix this. |

| I havent figured out yet how the yorkie got up high enough to bite that horse in that place, unless it is a big yorkie or can jump really high. Or did I miss the post about what happened. I remember seeing something on here about a yorkie biting a horse but didnt read all the post on it. I thought it was a joke or something.

| I see nothing funny about this. I read your other posts about this and I seen you thought it was funny..would u of thought it funny if the horse had killed your baby. My yorkie was killed by a horse...my own horse at that ..YOu should be thanking god your yorkie didn't get hurt and ashamed at yourself for finding it funny that harm was brought to another animal. I don't think you deserve to be allowed to own a pet if you condone biting and I hope you yorkie gets the training needed..next time it could be someone's child..

| im sorry but i think this is so silly, if that happened here and one of my yorkies bit a horse i would pay the vet bill and that would be the end of it. yes yorkies can bite and can cause damage but not that much to a horses bum

| Im so sorry. I hope things work out for you and the little one. Is our duty as pet owners to care for them and also make sure they don't harm others. So i understand why animal control took the little guy away. Did you also got fine? Anyway I just hope that they don't put him down. Please keep us posted. i will have him in my prayers. |

| Why would you avoid the muzzle? Isn't it more important that your yorkie is home with you? |

| muzzle My goodness..I would keep him in the house...how much yard does a 5 pound dog need? Mine have a small play yard on a stone patio..no bigger then 10x10..but if the law said they could never go outside, they would do fine...I had a small girl KC who never went outside more then 10 times in 14 yrs..she hated it. Get your Yorkie back and promise to muzzle him..then keep him inside. Honestly, if AC came to my house to take my dogs, they would have to call a Swat team..there are some things I would fight to the death over..and my dogs are one of them. BUT - there is no way I'm believing ANY of Maytepup's posts. (a) A Yorkie bites a horse on the butt, (b) the Yorkie has long enough teeth and great enough bite strength to actually do harm to the horse - bearing in mind that even at the flanks where their skin is thinner, horses have MUCH thicker skin than people, and now (c) the picture of the dog is posted around town as a danger to the community!!! Do you really think this is a serious post? Also, I will grant that there can be good, legitimate reasons why a YT member might not want to include location information with their user name. I have no argument with that - but I think that it's just too coincidental that the most outrageously unlikely threads come from someone who is one of a VERY small number who don't include location. Okay. I've gotten that out of my system. Like I said, if I'm proven wrong, I'll apologize and concede that this is about as wierd as any tale I've ever heard. But I'm pretty certain I won't be needing to issue an apology. | |
