Donating YT 500 Club Member | YorkieBug I'm interested to know how different members became yorkiephiles. I work at a hotel, a guest had me hold her yorkie, so she could get a bagel from our breakfast buffet. That was it, I was hooked, spent the next two months searching, reading, hoping and wanting and waiting. I wasn't a dog person before, and still can't believe myself sometimes, I'm obsessed! BTW, THX Nicole!

| My bf parent's bought one 4 years ago. He has been the best little dog and my bf said that if (when) we got a dog we would get a yorkie. So when we finally moved into a house I started my search. My bug continues as I have begun my search for a little playmate. |

| Lol, my best friend's Yorkie had puppies so I went visit. As soon as I held Rosie, my heart was filled with joy! The next day at PetCo, this lady was talking about her selling her Yorkie pups. I looked at the pictures, and when I first laid eyes on My Zoey Bear..it was love at first sight! Now she's my bestest friend. Sometimes we even dress alike! |

| A couple of my friends had yorkies when I was growing up, and I was just in love with them. My whole family has allergies, so my parents always told us that we couldn't have a dog. However, I learned that yorkies were "hypoallergenic," so I somehow managed to talk my parents into letting us get a yorkie. Since the day we brought KoKo home over 7 years ago, my whole family caught the "yorkiebug"!! My grandmother got one 1 month later, and over the past 7 years, my sister got one, my aunt got one, my husband and I got one when we got married in August, and my husband and I just got our second one last weekend We LOVE yorkies in our family! |

| That's what happens! I wasn't an animal person either before I got Baby. Now I cry when I watch puppymill videos and let doggies lick my face. Which was a BIG no-no before!

| Friends of our family was going on vacation and they had a Yorkie. He was the sweetest thing ever!! I was never allowed pets because my parents were away a lot and didn't think I could handle the responsibility all by myself, so when I moved out, I got two Yorkies and they now live in Canada with my mom and I have one here in Hong Kong with me.

Oh my God!! I do that too! I color coordinate Millie's outfits with mine, when we go out. Ok, I feel better now because I'm not the only one. | |

| I always had really big dogs and the opinion if I have to bend over to pet a dog it's not a dog. But... when I met my husband he mentioned that he had a Yorkie. (I told my romantic story on another thread!) The moment this sweet little cuddly something crawled on my lab the first time I was infected by the Yorkie Bug and getting worse and worse! |
