| My Yorkie's ears :o( My baby Napoleon is 4 months old and he ways 9 lbs! he's a big boy but I love every inch of him (even if his goal in life is to tear my limbs apart) Anyway, I am beginning to worry because his ears wont go up. Sometimes I see one ear go up and one ear stays put or sometimes none at all. I don't know what to do about this. I realize I dont have a standard yorkie and Napoleon is everything but standard but I would love for his ears to go up. What can I do besides taping them? I REALLY dont wanna tape them! |

| You could shave the ears.

| Sydney's ears never stood up until I had the groomer shave all the hair off the front and back and I still had to tape one ear up. One groomer told me that they would never stand up that trimming the hair didn't work. Well they are standing pretty now. I guess she didn't know anything after all. Try having them shaved off and taping them up with masking tape. It works! |

| Alot of bigger yorkies will have ears that are down. You can try shaving them and massaging them to get them to stand.
