| what would you do? ive just seen on another dog site about vets might start doing organ transplants on dogs. some people are worried that dogs might be bred just to be organ doners so the laws around that would have to be tight. also people are saying its not right cos the doner doesnt have a say in weather they want to donate. what are your feelings on it? if your yorkie needed a new heart and the vet said we have a organ doner would you do it? or if your yorkie was ill and was going to have to be pts would you put them on the organ doner list so they might save another dog?

| I would have to say that if My Tiny Man had something seriously wrong with him and I knew that he wasn't going to make it....I would feel very heart broken about it but..I would defanitly help save the love of another yourkie. It justs seems right to me...U know? The way I feel for my baby...I know that someone in return would feel very greatful that you helped to save they're baby...I would defanitly feel greatful if someone else did that for me...As for breeding them just for that reason....Nooooo....That would just be cruel.... |

| im in 2 minds over this, sasha had to be pts cos she needed a new heart and if the vet had said he had one i would of done it and also if the vet said he had a dog who would die if it didnt have a new liver and sashas would of been a match i would of said they could use it to save the other dog. but saying all that i think the law should be very tight so no money can be paid for the organ so dogs are not used for money, i think if they are going to do it there should be a list of dogs that need organs and a list of organ doners. also dont think cos the dog doesnt have a say is a reason not to do it as babies and children are doners and they dont have a say ether. kind of in 2 minds still.

| I would agree...But I would only do it if I really knew that something was really wrong with my puppy and I know that there was no chance of him surviving .. |

| Well...For right now the only thing wrong with Tiny is that he has a collapsed trachea...And I think that the vet tech did it when they trached him for his nuetering.. He is only 7 months old...The breeder that I got him from gave me a full refund...But I don't think that it had anything to do with her or the mother and father...IT WAS THE VET~~~ |
