| Okay, so i'm NOT a dog groomer. Okay, so im NOT a dog groomer. But, on Sunday I took Scrappy outback and set up a table and chair. Placed him on top and got busy trimming away at his terrible little knots underneath his belly and hind leg area. Then I noticed, wellll those little feet need a little trimming too. And welllllll I supose it wont hurt to take a little off his beard, etc, etc, etc, etc.... are you getting the idea yet! Needless to say an hour and half later he was looking pretty crazy. But I couldn't stop trimming cause it needed more taken off this side, no more off that side. Well my daughters and I took a trip of shame to the groomers on Monday. The groomers just about died of laughter when they saw what I'd done. They did take him and fix up the mess i'd made. But he is definately got a SHORT SUMMER CUT now! I promised Scrappy not to touch the scissors again, off to be pampered at the Salon only! Thought everyone would enjoy a laugh for the day.

| Heh he he - Oh how I know that feeling - Poor Dixie had the bowlcut of DOOM the only time I groomed her. But at least your little fella will be all snazzy for the summer!

| LOL Oh don't worry. I think most of us have done that at least once, and we learned the hard way...grooming w/scissors is not for us, we'll let the pros do it. I did that to Skittles last summer, her coat has some length to it finally. It'll grow back in no time.

| Toooo cuuuute! I know what you're talking about! The first few times Mitzi looked pretty crazy too but I couldn't give up since we don't have a groomer here. Good that hair grows out! Now I'm pretty good at it and I also extended my grooming skills to my husband and he actually loves it. |
