| age in weeks Okay, this might be a silly question... but how do you count how old your Yorkie is in weeks? Do you do it by the date or the day? Like my puppy was born on March 6... so does that make her 12 weeks on June 6? Or do I count 12 weeks from the Monday she was born on, making her 12 weeks on May 29? I've seen it done both ways, so wondering which way I should count it.

| I could be wrong, but I think you count by weeks not month to month. So if I'm not mistaken she will be 12 weeks on the May 29 and she will be 3 months on June 6. Make sense?

Man, saying it like that sure does make a 1 year, 10 months & 1 week old yorkie sound old, huh?

At some point in time (probably 4 or 5 months, as you said) the changes slow down enough that age by month is enough to explain where your furbaby is along the development line. | |

| Let me see here?? That would make me 12,823 weeks, 359 days old right now!! I think it's like when you're a kid, and you say you're 13 and a 1/2, or 13 and 3/4. I'e never heard of anyone actually saying they're 48 and a 1/2 ! After a certain age (like about 6 months), the weeks turn into months and the months turn into years. The next thing you know, is you're wearing purple dresses and a red hat!!!
