| My yorkie, Bentley, grew inches and pounds after he turned a year old! He was just about 4 lbs. at a year old and had been the same size for 6 months, but he went on a growth spurt right after his first birthday. Now he's 2 years old and weighs 6.5 lbs! He even grew taller (he actually looks leggy) so it's not like he turned into a little butterball. My husband and I joked that he was sneaking growth hormone, lol. I'm not sure if he's the exception to the rule but don't give up hope that Gracie will grow a little more. |
