| 3 yorkies anyone? My boyfriend and I currently have 2 yorkies. He received an email today from his best friend about a co-worker who is looking to re-home her 2 year old yorkie. She has cancer and is no longer able to care for her. I would LOVE to have another yorkie but I would also like to find out more info about the dog before I decide. For those of you who have 3 yorkies, what are the pros and cons of having 3?

| There are only a couple of cons that I can think of: 1. Hard to travel with three -- alot of motels will let 2 in but not 3 -- so we bought a motorhome. LOL 2. Its a little harder to walk 3 at the same time but we manage. 3. Two play together better than 3 -- our older one is usually left out of the playtime. |

| we have 4 not 3, but I can second the same thing that 3CrazyYorkies just said about the traveling. we also bought a motor home because of havng so many. LOL . the walking part...well i only walk 2 of them at a time. the smaller 2 are being paper trained. I do take them out for walks in the yard, but, only 2 at a time unless my husband is there to hold the other 2. bath time is a much longer chore. food is bought sooner more vet visits. more everything.... including fun and love and kisses and everyone wants brushed at the same time. LOL

And I have a friend who comes to my house to watch my babies!!!!! I say go for it!!!!!!!!!! I already want a 4th!! HAHHAHA!

| The thing that affects us the most is extended bath time. Crissy is my little fireball . . . my inside fence jumper, my outside fence escapee, my cuddler, my sweet girl. Carter is my the oldest but keeps up with Crissy in playing. He doesn't escape outside, doesn't jump inside fences and is the same as he's always been. Cooper is just like my daughter (he's her yorkie). He loves to sleep, is too lazy to open the doggie door and go outside (we have to open it for him), could care less about escaping but loves to chase birds. Cooper moved out for a few months but he and my daughter both moved home about 2 weeks ago. Before Cooper moved out, it was he and Carter that would snuggle, play together, etc. Now that he's back home . . . he just chills out while Carter and Crissy play. Doesn't seem that anything stays the same as to which two pair up. Regardless . . . they are all special! So what that it takes longer to bathe them or more money to feed them or more money to care for them at the vet's office or more doses of heartworm and flea meds. They are simply a joy!

| I have Kitty who is between 2 and 3 yrs old. I've had her since she was 9wks. I have Holly who is 5 or 6yrs old and have had her for about 3-4 wks I have Tink who was born in Feb. (Kitty is the mom) The only con I have is that my lap just isn't big enough when they all want to sit on me at the same time.
